Chris Knutsen was a west coast luthier who made harp and Hawaiian style guitars in the early 1900s. These pre-date the better known Weissenborn and Kona guitars. This rare teardrop Knutsen features top, back and sides of river red gum, and a rope-pattern soundhole ring. The top bracing has been replaced with X bracing and there are 2 top cracks and 2 back cracks that have been repaired.  Comes with a Hard Case.
*When using Affirm, we charge an additional 3.5% fee on the total at checkout. The majority of our instruments are consignment, where CVG keeps a small percentage of each sale. To be able to cover the additional costs required to offer financing, we have to include a higher fee to the customer. The 3.5% fee will be included in and spread across your Affirm payments.
