This Kalamazoo KK-31 mandocello crafted by Gibson is a rare find, distinguished by its glossy sunburst finish. Its double-bound archtop body, adorned with F-holes, showcases an arched spruce top paired with solid mahogany back, sides, and neck. The instrument boasts a 24-fret Brazilian rosewood fingerboard and 4-on-a-plate tuners featuring black buttons. Completing its features are an adjustable Brazilian rosewood bridge and a trapeze tailpiece. This example has had its neck reset, but is otherwise all original. It displays plenty of mojo from decades of making music and plays great!
