Description

The primary choice of bass by Paul McCartney in the 1960's, the Hofner 500/1, often nicknamed the Beatle Bass, is one of the most recognizable and sought-after basses in the Hofner line. The semi-hollow, violin-shaped body is lightweight and offers a rich and unique amplified tone. With the exception of its missing pickguard, this example is in excellent, original condition, with no repairs or modifications to note. There is hardly any visible wear, just some hairline scratches and small bruises.
