Heart Strings Parlor Nylon 2022, Natural Redwood & Wave Sapele

This unusual nylon-string parlor, called Heart Strings, was commissioned and co-designed by Robert Row from Mexican luthier Javier Jasso. Javier was born in the mountain town of Parracho, known for its 400-year-old tradition of guitar-making. Though it's small and portable in size, this lightweight nylon-string has a surprisingly powerful voice—commanding enough for recording and performance, but easy and intimate for playing for fun. Contemporary features to note are the large soundport on the player side in place of a soundhole and a raised fretboard for easy access. More traditionally-minded classical players will be pleased with the full scale length, traditional flat fretboard and wide nut, and everyone will appreciate the specially selected tonewoods and ultra thin lacquer finish. The combination of redwood (sourced from the famous Alicia and Craig Carter stash) with wave sapele gives a sparkling, articulate tone.

This 2022 guitar is in very good condition, with the only thing to note being some imperfect finish work on the neck heel (we've confirmed it's stable). Comes in a structured backpack case.
