This unusual nylon-string parlor, called Heart Strings, was commissioned and co-designed by Robert Row from Mexican luthier Javier Jasso. Javier was born in the mountain town of Parracho, known for its 400-year-old tradition of guitar-making. Though it's small and portable in size, this lightweight nylon-string has a surprising, warm voice—commanding enough for recording and performance, but easy and intimate for playing for fun. Contemporary features to note are the large soundport on the player side in place of a soundhole and a raised fretboard for easy access. More traditionally-minded classical players will be pleased with the full scale length, traditional flat fretboard and wide nut, and everyone will appreciate the specially selected tonewoods and ultra thin lacquer finish. The warm cedar/koa combination has nice clarity in the trebles and a rich mid-range.
Condition of this guitar is excellent, and it comes with a lightweight Cordoba gig bag.
