If you're not familiar with Scott Baxendale and his conversions, you should be! Essentially, these Harmony guitars and their relatives by other names have desirable woods with less desirable construction techniques. So Baxendale Guitars tears them down - removing the neck, bridge, and back of the guitar. The ladder braces are removed and replaced with scalloped Adirondack or Engelmann X-braces similar to pre-war Martin and Gibson guitars and the Brazilian rosewood boards are planed to a 12" - 14" compound radius with a fresh set of frets. After a new bridge is made and the neck is reset, you get a wonderful guitar made of great woods!
This example is in great reworked condition and sounds excellent!
Includes a hard shell case.
