The guild S-300 launched in 1977 to replace their SG style guitar and was one of their first original solid body guitar designs. The guitars were well-equipped with dual humbucking pickups, three-way pickup selector switch, volume and tone control for each pickup, and a phase switch for reversing pickup polarity.
This example is in good playable condition with some general wear, checking, light finish touch up on the back edges, and three doweled holes on the upper horn near the strap button. Otherwise the guitar plays and sounds great. It's bright and resonant acoustically which translates really well when plugged in!
Includes a non original hard case.
