Description

A wonderful jumbo Guild from the late 1960's. This example has a number of improvements from use over the years including: neck reset, refret, bridge reglue, finish touch up around heel and fingerboard extension, on body and back of headstock. Repaired and cleated pickguard crack, two cleats under fingerboard extension, new nut and saddle.

The wonderful tone of vintage Guilds is sought after as another color to add to the pallet, independent of other American made guitars, Guild produced some exceptional pieces with character all their own. This particular model has an even, compressed sound that is sweet and articulate without sacrificing volume.
