Description

Based off an original design by Bo Diddley, the original Gretsch Jupiter Thunderbird was given to ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons as a gift. Not wanting to subject such a special, rare guitar to the rigors of touring, Billy partnered with Gretsch to recreate the instrument, featuring some of his own personal modifications while retaining Bo's original design.

Features dual TV Jones Power’Tron pickups and Adjusto-matic bridge with G-cutout tailpiece. This 2013 model is all original, and includes the original hardshell case.
