The 2010 Gretsch Custom Shop '55 Roc Jet is a masterbuilt tribute to Gretsch’s early solidbody designs, blending vintage aesthetics with modern craftsmanship. Handcrafted by Stephen Stern and his team, this model draws inspiration from the 1955 Duo Jet, featuring a chambered mahogany body with a maple top, delivering a warm, resonant tone. It boasts a single-cutaway design, classic hump-block inlays, and a script logo headstock, encapsulating the mid-'50s Gretsch style. Equipped with Dynasonic-style pickups, the '55 Roc Jet offers the articulate, punchy tones favored by rockabilly and early rock 'n' roll players.
