"A flatpicker's delight, with dynamic power to spare", Goodall's Traditional Dreadnought is their take on the big-bodied workhorse. This particular model combines fiddleback Mahogany, an Adirondack Spruce top, and appointments like Maple binding and herringbone purfling for a deluxe version of the classic D-18. Goodall says, "Its tone is extremely powerful in the bass and midrange with an emphasis on a broad warmth without lacking treble. It has been designed especially with the flatpicker and the bluegrass player in mind. All of our Traditional series models features a custom, partially scalloped bracing pattern which produces a bit more 'boominess' in the bass and midrange."
This pre-owned guitar was made prior to 2009 when the Goodalls were still based in Hawaii. It does have some light signs of wear in the form of scattered superficial finish scratches and dings. It's just come back from our tech who gave it a thorough check and set-up, and comes with an L.R. Baggs Lyric pickup and TKL Hard Case.
