"A flatpicker's delight, with dynamic power to spare", Goodall's Traditional Dreadnought is their take on the big-bodied workhorse. This particular model combines an Adirondack Spruce top, East Indian Rosewood back and sides, and appointments like Maple binding and herringbone purfling for a deluxe version of the classic D-28. Goodall says, "Its tone is extremely powerful in the bass and midrange with an emphasis on a broad warmth without lacking treble. It has been designed especially with the flatpicker and the bluegrass player in mind. All of our Traditional series models features a custom, partially scalloped bracing pattern which produces a bit more 'boominess' in the bass and midrange." This pre-owned guitar was made prior to 2009 when the Goodalls were still based in Hawaii. This example is exceptionally clean and shows minimal signs of wear.
