A unique Gibson TB-3 from 1927 that has been converted from a 4 string tenor banjo into a 5 string banjo. A new neck was hand made by Frank Neat of Neat Banjos for the conversion, and it was masterfully done too! The banjo itself sounds musical and is a joy to play with the addition of a headstock mounted drop tuner so you can change tunings on the fly. The original body shows normal signs of wear for a 96 year old instrument and is in great shape overall. The frets show just the slightest bit of wear that doesn't effect playability and it plays easily with no issues. The original neck will be included, as well as a silver Crossrock fiberglass case.
