The Gibson Southern Jumbo model was the top of the line slope shoulder offered in the line-up. While J-45 like in tonal character, this SJ is dressed up with stacked binding, parallelogram inlays, a crown/Gibson-logo inlay in the headstock, bound fingerboard, and individual tuners. In the grand scheme of aesthetics, it's still subtle and understated. The braces on these pre-1955 models are scalloped; which helps with the dynamic warmth. This example is in excellent playing condition and was refinished on its top, refretted, had its bridge plate replaced, and a back crack and lower treble rim crack were reglued and cleated.

Comes with modern TKL hardshell case.
