This 1984 Gibson Les Paul Standard captures the spirit of the Norlin-era with classic tones and plenty of attitude. Featuring a mahogany body with a maple top and a pair of original Tim Shaw humbuckers, it delivers that unmistakable Les Paul growl—rich, punchy, and full of sustain. The neck has a comfortable medium profile, and the frets show moderate wear with plenty of life left. Cosmetically, it's in good shape - it has several dings in the finish and notable buckle rash. A great-sounding Standard from a distinctive era in Gibson’s history.
Includes original black "Chainsaw" case.
