Excerpt from the 1957 Gibson Catalog: "The Popular Les Paul Solidbody Guitar: The famed Les Paul tones" can now become a reality with this beautiful, solid-body Les Paul guitar, incorporating many unusual Gibson features. Striking in its appearance with it's gold-finished, carved maple top, mahogany body and neck, the Les Paul name in gold script on the peghead of this guitar." This guitar comes from the original owner's family. It is in exceptionally fine condition and 100% original. The guitar comes with pictures of the original owner playing the guitar in the '50s. The case pocket contains the strap, "Mr. Dealer" tag, the ABR-1 instructions in its original envelope, the case key in its original envelope, a pitch pipe and the original strap. The guitar comes in its original Lifton 5 latch case that is also in exceptionally fine condition.
