"Greeny" is one of the most famous Les Pauls, a 1959 "burst" that was originally used by Peter Green during his time with Fleetwood Mac before moving on to Gary Moore, who used it with Thin Lizzy and during his solo career. The guitar finally passed to Metallica's Kirk Hammett, who partnered with Gibson's Custom Shop to produce a very limited run of 50 instruments that recreated every nuance of the famed Les Paul.
Although Gibson later decided to reintroduce a non-limited Custom Shop build (as well as a standard USA and an inexpensive Epiphone model), but this first run features a rare Brazilian Rosewood, as used on the original run of Les Paul Standards in the 50s. Every element has been meticulously copied from the original "Greeny" in collaboration with Kirk.
The guitar has been kept in excellent condition and is collector grade, including the COA, all the case candy, and original hardshell case.
