In the shop, we have affectionately named this guitar "Lucky 7" because it's serial/factory order number is "777." This Gibson L-00 from 1933 was built during the height of the Great Depression, lived through multiple wars, and likely owned by multiple generations. It looks like it has stories to tell from every one of its 90 years here in the States. It was recently revived into playing condition, see Notes section of the Spec tab for the list, but was most notably left with an oversized ebony bridge that was installed years ago by a previous repair journey. This bridge does not seem to have hindered the iconic loud dry/woody sound, and the bridge plate is still the small maple variety. "Small bursts" appeared on the earliest versions of the L-00s, and this one has aged gracefully without refinishing. "Lucky 7" is a guitar that sounds just as cool as it looks.
Comes with a non-vintage hardshell case.
