Banner J45s are a songwriters best friend. It's one of the most suggested "if you can only have one guitar" models. "Banner's", referring to the "Only a Gibson is Good Enough" logo on the headstock were made during WWII, mostly by women. Additionally, some J-45's during the WWII/Banner-era were made with rare mahogany tops, like this example. These sound a little different than the spruce versions, and many players seek out these variations in particular. It has been fully over sprayed, but its sonic qualities were not hindered. Overall, this is a lovely guitar that represents all that is desirable about banner-era Gibsons.
Comes with hardshell case (non Gibson)
