Celebrating the Bicentennial of the United States, Gibson released a batch of Firebirds and Thunderbirds to commemorate the event. These are essentially reissues of Firebird III's but with a few upgrades.
The design of the Firebird is incredibly unique to the Gibson lineup, bright and charactered in its tonal footprint. This guitar has replaced pickups but otherwise is all original from the first wave of production in the mid 70's.
Comes with original Gibson hard shell case.
