The Gibson Dove is synonymous with the folk revival of the 1960s, with its ubiquitous symbol of peace resting proudly on the pickguard. This 1963 example carries years of mojo along with it; its nicotine stained finish a testament to the decades of songs it's helped share. At some point in the 1970s, this guitar returned to the Gibson factory for repair, and it was partnered with an entirely new neck. It also left the factory with a new case during that visit, and retains that case to this day. Aside from the neck replacement, its other modifications have been less substantial. Some work was done to stabilize the bridge and seat it correctly, a top brace was re-glued, and a top crack gas been repaired with a maple cleat. In its current state, it's a great guitar with a comfortable neck and relaxing, warm tone.
