This Furch Green D SR a is built with a Sitka spruce top and Indian rosewood back and sides, forming a classic tonewood pairing known for balance and clarity. The body is finished in Furch’s Full-Pore High-Gloss lacquer, an ultra-thin finish designed to protect the wood while allowing the instrument to resonate freely. The guitar also features the company’s CNR System® Active neck joint, which combines a dual-action truss rod with carbon reinforcement to maintain long-term neck stability and consistent string action.
Visual details include faux ivory binding, a rosette with a double ring and black walnut inlay, and pearl position markers on the ebony fingerboard. The neck is carved from African mahogany and paired with an ebony bridge and fully compensated TUSQ saddle. Chrome Furch machine heads with an 18:1 gear ratio provide smooth and accurate tuning.
