Modifications/RepairsNeck pickup is a Duncan 1/4 Pounder. Bridge pickup is aftermarket, probably Duncan.

This 1974 Fender Telecaster has some Grand Ole Opry history! It was owned by Melvin Sloan of the Melvin Sloan Dancers. If you went to the Opry in the '80's, or 90's, there's a good chance you saw Melvin and his talented troupe of dancers doing their clogging thing. Ok, back to this Tele, it's in very good condition. Almost all original except for the pickups: the neck pickup is a Duncan Quarter Pounder. The bridge pickup is another replacement of unknown origin. It looks like a Duncan product as well. The guitar plays well, sounds great and for a mid '70s Fender, it's not too heavy at 8.4 pounds. This Tele comes with an '80 hardshell Fender case.
