Description
The Fender Telecaster: the world's first mass produced solid-body electric guitar, and Fender's only solid-body guitar in production until the Stratocaster was debuted in 1954. It propelled the instrument from being seen as a passing fad to the defining instrument of modern music. This '53 example has had a re-fret, replaced caps in the "dark" circuit, four filled holes in top below bridge, its original neck pickup re-installed, a replaced nut, and a replaced switch tip. It looks beautifully worn in and the sound and feel of a 'blackguard' Tele is unmatched. The re-fret and Soft V neck profile make this guitar a breeze to play and it sounds even better than it looks.
Includes its original hard shell case and bridge cover.
