The Fender Telecaster: the world's first mass produced solid-body electric guitar, and Fender's only solid-body guitar in production until the Stratocaster debuted in 1954. It propelled the instrument from being seen as a passing fad to the defining instrument of modern music. This '53 example has been through a few changes in its life including being previously equipped with a Bigsby, since then the holes have been dowelled and touched up, and receiving a replaced switch and cap (the originals come with the guitar in the case). It looks beautifully worn in and the sound and feel of a 'blackguard' Tele is unmatched. The guitar plays incredibly and has immense resonance.
Comes with its original hard shell case.
