1965 was a transition year for Fender and those newly taken by the rock and roll sweep. The Fender Stratocaster was the model of choice for those musicians wanting to go electric like Dylan did. This particular example was likely someone's pride and joy, it's certainly a survivor despite some changes which are listed in the specs. The main highlights are: the body has been refinished to a polar white nitro, trapped with a reproduction pickguard, and the pickups are non-original to the guitar. All that being said, it is player ready and reminiscent of the Wayne's World Holy Grail Stratocaster!
