Here we have a pre-CBS 1964 Strat–enough said? The neck date is March 1964 and the pickups date at May 18 the same year, putting this one in the timeframe many consider to be the peak of Fender construction and design. It has a lightweight alder body and maple neck, making it lively and fun to play. Condition wise, it's in nearly factory original state, with the kind of cosmetic relic people pay for these days. We note a rewound neck pickup, a small bit of finish touch up on body, and a replaced nut. The frets are in great shape, and the playability is excellent. Comes in its original hard case.
