Description

This is a very cool 1964 Fender Stratocaster in a Dakota Red refinish. The neck finish and logo on this guitar are original, only the body has been refinished. Great sounding and playing Strat with a recent setup by Carter Vintage Guitars. Excellent feeling neck on this guitar that has more of a '63 profile as you move up the neck. The bridge pickup has been rewound slightly hotter than what it probably started out as. All the pickups are gray bobbins with the date, "10-28-64" written in pencil on the neck bobbin. The pickguard, knobs, pickup covers and all hardware are original. The guitar comes with the trem bar and bridge cover in a non-original black hardshell case.
