Talk about clean! This early 1954 Stratocaster is 100% original except for a new bone nut. It is near impossible to find a '54 Strat with the plastic fully intact; early '54 Strats are notorious for broken, worn through, or missing plastic parts. Not so here! The original pickup covers, short skirt knobs, and "Football" switch tip are completely intact. The only imperfections to note are 2 reactions on the pickguard from a previous nameplate that was glued to it.

The U-shaped neck is masterfully crafted by Fender neck shaping icon, Tadeo Gomez and is super comfortable to play with its original frets which have plenty of life left to them. The neck date is "TG 7-6-54" and the body date is "6/54." This guitar is lightweight, coming in at 7.2 pounds and is a joy to play. The pickups are balanced and have that classic early 1954 AlNiCo 3 magnet sound.

Includes it's clean, original "poodle" case, strap, panic bar, polish cloth and ashtray. It will also include a letter from the original owners.

*When using Affirm, we charge an additional 3.5% fee on the total at checkout. The majority of our instruments are consignment, where CVG keeps a small percentage of each sale. To be able to cover the additional costs required to offer financing, we have to include a higher fee to the customer. The 3.5% fee will be included in and spread across your Affirm payments.
