Fender Starcasters exist. Yes, it's not just a mistaken recall of the "Stratocaster" model. They are just as fun and 1970s as the name suggests. Starcasters came out in 1975, two years before Lucas's Star Wars series. They feature double wide-range Humbucking pickups, designed by famous Gibson designer Seth Lover. While it shares sonic similarities to Gibson, it has the unmistakably Fender construction of an offset body and long scale length. This particular example was played a lot, but well cared for.

Comes in original hardshell case.
