Fender pushed the Mustang design through its factory just before CBS takeover in 1965. It was introduced as a student model and has been adopted by all levels of players since then. This 1967 model is a beautiful yellowed aging of Olympic White. The age on this Mustang tells the story of use over the years and appreciation of what these instruments have to offer. While the Mustang might be a divisive instrument among Fender lovers, the Mustang has unique tonality and feel to it. Its style is familiar to Duo-Sonic players and still has a standard Fender tone. This instrument comes with its original hard case, strap (which is broken from dry rot) and bridge cover.
