Jimi Hendrix famously played a right-handed post-CBS Stratocaster left-handed, and although no one denies the magic in Jimi's hands, many believe some unique elements to his sound came from the tension difference of a right-handed guitar being strung left-handed. For right-handers that are searching for that feel Fender released a Hendrix Tribute model in the 90s that was essentially a left-handed guitar strung for right hand playing. This example still has the plastic on the pickguard, and although time is beginning to show on the finish, the guitar is still in great condition for its age.
