This 2000s Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster Pro Model comes in a classy Shoreline Gold finish, complete with a tasteful relic treatment that’s been joined over time by a few additional dings and a bit of hardware rust—nothing that hurts the vibe, and honestly, it suits the guitar. The neck pickup has been swapped for an AY hand-wound unit, and a treble-bleed mod was added, giving the guitar a clear, consistent voice as you roll the volume back. Plugged in, it has a lively, dynamic tone that feels both familiar and nicely dialed-in. The neck has a slimmer profile but with a wider feel across the board, landing in that comfortable zone where it never feels too thin or cramped. Altogether, it’s a well-played, great-sounding Custom Shop Strat with a worn-in look and a confident, energetic response. Comes with the OHSC.
