Fender Custom Shop Custom Stratocaster Thinline Masterbuilt Yuriy Shishkov 2005, Sunburst

This 2005 Fender Custom Shop Thinline Stratocaster, Masterbuilt by Yuriy Shishkov, is a wonderfully offbeat creation—designed in the spirit of the Squier ’51, but elevated to Custom Shop craftsmanship. It’s “unique New York, as they say,” with a Telecaster pickup in the neck, a humbucker in the bridge, a Tele neck profile, and even a Tele-style side jack—all wrapped into a chambered Strat body. The flame maple top is gorgeous, set off beautifully by the classic Sunburst finish, while the birdseye maple neck adds another layer of striking detail. It feels lively and resonant in the hands, with a tonal spread that runs from warm Tele-style clarity to fuller, driven humbucker. A very cool and creatively conceived build from one of Fender’s most respected Masterbuilders.  Comes with the OHSC and COA.
