This 1993 Fender Custom Shop Bill Carson Stratocaster in Cimarron Red is a lively tribute to one of the key figures behind the Strat’s original design. Bill Carson worked closely with Leo Fender in the early days, pushing for the body contours, bridge design, and overall ergonomics that helped define the modern Stratocaster. This Custom Shop version captures that spirit with a comfortable, vintage-inspired feel and a neck that practically plays itself. The pickups have been replaced with a set of unmarked handwounds that sound fantastic—clear, dynamic, and full of character.
