The 2023 Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt Jason Smith Stratocaster in Gold over Paisley Relic is a distinctive instrument with a striking visual presence. Built by Jason Smith, it pairs a maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard and vintage-style appointments throughout. The Gold over Paisley finish is executed with that aged aesthetic characteristic of Custom Shop relic work. Its equipped with Custom Shop handwound 60's Strat pickups offering clarity and balance across the range. This example exhibits relic'ing imitating a well-played refinished piece.
