Fender introduced the Coronado in the 60s as a fully hollow-body guitar, a unique entry in their collection. The Coronado II added a bridge pickup and extra controls, and provided an alternative to competitors such as the Gibson ES-330 and Epiphone Casino, while retaining the Fender surf-rock and rockabilly aesthetic. This example is all original, including the hardshell case, but the missing handle has been replaced with wire.
