The 1954 Fender Champion Lap Steel is a classic example of early Fender craftsmanship, featuring a solid hardwood body adorned with a distinctive yellow pearloid finish. Equipped with a single-coil pickup similar to those found in early Telecasters, it delivers a bright, articulate tone ideal for country and blues. Its simple design and reliable electronics have made it a favorite among lap steel players. Comes complete with its original tweed hardshell case.
