Description

While Fender’s earlier ‘Champion’ lap steel (produced from 1949 to early 1955) featured a modified Telecaster pickup, the Champ pickup found here is essentially an early Stratocaster flat-pole pickup—housed in a black plastic cover instead of white. This example is all original aside from replaced tuner buttons. It also includes its original tweed case.
