Description
This is Fender Stratocaster was built in 1997, which is known as an era for having stellar craftsmanship for the money. The California Series features vintage appointments, with the tremolo, tuners, and 4 bolt neck plate. It also features a 60's-style C shaped maple neck, which has that all-too-familiar comfort to it. This guitar is in fantastic shape for it's age, with only minor signs of previous playwear. Here's what Fender had to say about it:
"The California Series came about thanks to the joint efforts of Fender's Corona, California factory and its Baja California Norte, Ensenada, Mexico. All California series are produced along the Pacific Coast Highway. First the bodies and necks are cut and shaped in Corona. Then, they're sent to Ensenada where they're sanded, painted and buffed. Final assembly is then performed in Corona using genuine Fender hardware and electronics."
