Description

This 1958 Fender 400 Pedal Steel features an unoriginal dark magenta red finish that gives it a bold, distinctive look while retaining the classic lines of Fender’s early pedal steel design. It’s been rewired with non-original pots, offering stable and reliable performance while departing slightly from factory spec. The eight-string setup and cable-and-pulley system reflect Fender’s forward-thinking approach to pedal steel in the late ’50s. There’s honest wear throughout, but the instrument remains fully functional and full of character. A unique take on a historic model. Comes with the OHSC.
