Fender's '79 Anniversary stratocaster was made to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the model. Approximately 10,000 were made between '79-80. The initial finish color, Porsche Silver, also known as "anniversary silver," has a somewhat of a metallic green hue. This particular example has a finish blister on the top edge and the ground wire to the volume pot has been resoldered. It's tuners have been replaced with non-locking Fenders and it is missing both its original bridge cover and tremolo arm.
