The Fender Custom Shop 1962 Stratocaster Heavy Relic comes finished in Tahitian Coral—a custom color that walks the line between playful and worn-in, with heavy relic work that exposes the personality beneath the paint. Deep checking, edge wear, and hardware aging give it the look of something that’s been through years of use without apology. The slimmer '60s “C” neck profile and slab rosewood board keep things familiar in the hand, with a fast, broken-in feel that makes it easy to get around. Hand-wound pickups deliver the dry, woody response typical of early-'60s Strats, with just enough mid push to keep things forward in a mix. It’s a loud finish, but the feel is all business.  Comes with the COA and OHSC.
