This is an extremely rare Epiphone Windsor, one of roughly 3 examples Before Epiphone was acquired by Gibson in 1957, Epi was Gibson's most formidable rival, and the Windsor mandolin was Epi's answer to the Gibson F-5.
This mandolin was formerly owned by Harry West, one of the earliest vintage instrument dealers. It has some old finish overspray and touchup on the body. A thin veneer (approx. 1/8") was added to the back of the headstock, and that area has been painted black. The bridge was made by Lynn Dudenbostel; the original will be included with the original case.
