This guitar comes from the special collection of a 25-year Gibson employee. The collection includes one-of-a-kind prototypes and some of the best examples of models from the Epiphone line over the past two decades, with many of them still in the same condition they left the factory.
The Epiphone PR-5 was introduced in 1990 with its body shape patterned after Sheraton and Casino electric models minus the double-cutaway, substituted for a single "Florentine" sharp cutaway. This N model is the "classical" nylon string version, and includes slotted headstock and bridge for nylon strings. It includes a Fishman pickup for amplification and a hardshell case.
