Dudenbostel F-5 2004, Sunburst

This 2004 Dudenbostel F-5 is a masterclass in luthiery, handcrafted with an eye toward the golden age of mandolins. Built by Lynn Dudenbostel, whose instruments are among the most sought-after in the world, this F-5 delivers that dry, woody chop and bell-clear treble you'd expect from a Loar-era inspiration. The sunburst finish is warm and inviting, with just the right amount of vintage glow. It's constructed with some of the best wood available with Eastern Red Spruce and brilliant flamed maple. Cosmetically, it's in excellent condition with no significant wear.
