Here is a piece of history and an incredible insight into Danelectro's design process. This prototype guitar has a piece of aluminum running from the neck to the bridge in an attempt to transfer resonance and keep the neck straight. It worked well in both regards. The guitar has a beautiful resonance from the combined aluminum block and masonite body that creates a reverberant effect. The wear on the guitar is minimal considering its age. There is a bit of wear to the basketweave on the guitar and some notes of wear. Taking age into consideration, the guitar looks, plays and sound phenomenal.
Comes with the original hard case which is in fair condition but still functional.
