While many people are familiar with the Marshall Major 200W amp, most aren't aware of the rare "Pig" variant. The main reason is that only 50 examples were ever made—and most of them have blown up by now!
Harnessed by the mighty skill and craftsmanship of Dale Amps founder Elad Shapiro, this Marshall Pig clone has been overbuilt and fortified to deliver maximum performance and reliability. Unlike most high-powered amps, it's difficult to achieve a usable low-volume sound—but that’s not the case here. There's plenty of range on the volume knob to dial in whatever level you need, with maximized headroom in the power section. The tone stack is also very unique and doesn’t respond like most Marshall amps, including the standard 200W Major.
