Description

The MT O brings Collings’ satin-finished, pared-back aesthetic to a mandolin built with the same high-quality materials and craftsmanship found in their fully appointed A-style models. Its carved Engelmann spruce top paired with maple back and sides delivers a rich, woody voice suited for professional-level playing. The oval soundhole gives the MT O its signature warmth, enhancing the bass and low mids while adding an open, overtone-rich character. Compared to the MT, which leans toward more cut and percussive “chop,” the MT O offers a fuller, rounder response that feels inviting and expressive. This mandolin is in near-mint condition with virtually no signs of play and comes with its original hard case.
