The DS2H, Collings' 12-fret dreadnaught, is an exquisite take on a traditional design. Though it retains a classic dreadnaught shape, wider neck, and slotted headstock, its longer body and alternative bridge placement make for a more open and airy sound. To be sure, this guitar has excellent response and projects clearly up and down the fretboard. Aside from a small cleated top crack behind the bridge, this Collings remains in stellar condition.
